The President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Dr. Mashhour Rifai, opened a workshop on the development of human resources in higher education institutions within the European RISE project coordinated by the PSUT.

The workshop, which was held at the Mövenpick Hotel in the Dead Sea, with the participation of Jordanian public and private universities, discussed the development of human resources in higher education institutions.

Dr. Rifai welcomed the attendees, and presented a summary about PSUT and its excellence referring to its association with many Arab and international universities, stressing the importance of RISE's project for Arab universities and the role of the university as project manager.

The coordinator of the project, Prof. Walid salameh, spoke about the development of human resources in higher education institutions and ways to attract the outstanding competencies therein, in addition to the procedures to be taken and the necessary conditions to take into account in this regard.

He pointed out the possibility of holding other workshops in the near future discussing the important topics directly related to human resources.

The project partners from the Mu'tah and Tafila Technical Universities presented the experiences and good practices gained from the training workshops held in the EU and the Mediterranean countries of the project partners.
